In Unit 6, students will be showcasing their skills in argumentative writing again to close out our year together in Multicultural Literature. As part of our final unit we will be reading Trevor Noah's autobiography Born a Crime. The topics available for students to choose from in this LibGuide represent some of the more prevalent and thematic issues at play in the novel and it will be up to students to decide on which side of the issues they stand. Once students have decided on an issue, they will be responsible for researching it, analyzing an existing argument on the topic, and eventually creating their own script and visual aid for a TED Talk on their topics.
